EDIBLE GARDENS

Edible gardens are a new trend in the urban landscape where growing vegetables, fruits, herbs and flowers are organically grown in a way that encourages biodiversity. This is done with an “aesthetic” to fit in with the conditions and space where the edible garden is.

The design of an edible garden takes into consideration the space and the needs of its owner – whether it be a small family urban plot, a larger space with trees and plants or a small green domestic space – all of which combine food, beauty, biodiversity and sustainability in the one space, imitating the structure, dynamic and functions inherent in nature.

These wonderful spaces in our homes, offer us much more than food and beauty. They are a place for recreation and learning, a place that can be of great educational value if you have children as well as helping financially.
